Repair instead of replacing – when it makes economic sense.
We repair length measuring instruments and measuring equipment from many well-known manufacturers. Before every repair, we assess whether repair is technically and economically viable.
If repair is no longer economical, we can also offer repair exchange or replacement with a new device at an attractive price.

How the repair process works
Send us the device.
Pack the device securely and send it to us.
Inspection
We inspect the condition, fault pattern, spare parts requirements and economic viability.
Quotation
You receive a recommendation: repair, replacement or repair exchange, together with a transparent quotation.
Service & return shipment
After your approval, we repair the device or supply the replacement device and return it reliably.
Cost estimate and diagnostics
Inspection costs only for substantial diagnostic work
For small and standard instruments, a cost estimate is normally free of charge. High-value or complex instruments may require extensive dismantling, measurement and fault finding. If no repair is then carried out and the instrument is returned unrepaired, we may charge the actual inspection and diagnostic work at our current repair hourly rate.
If the repair is commissioned and performed, the necessary inspection costs are not charged separately or are credited. If the instrument is recycled or scrapped by us, inspection costs may be waived depending on the instrument, effort and recoverable value; there is no automatic entitlement. We seek prior approval where exceptionally high diagnostic costs are foreseeable.
