Flexible reference for many bore gauges
The ESU is used to set two-point comparative internal gauges safely. It covers approximately 4.5 to 800 mm and is particularly economical when reference diameters change frequently.
Build the target size with gauge blocks
The required dimension is assembled from gauge blocks. The blocks are placed against the measuring jaws and secured so that the force of the gauge being set does not alter the reference dimension.
High-quality measuring faces
The jaws are made from solid carbide and lapped to gauge-block quality. Flatness deviation is no more than about 0.6 µm, while setting uncertainty is up to about 2 µm, excluding the uncertainty contribution of the gauge blocks.
Horizontal or vertical operation
The ESU can be used horizontally or vertically depending on the instrument and working method. SUBITO gauges, OD plugs and other two-point systems can therefore be set ergonomically and repeatably.
