Application and measuring principle
The degree spirit level is used whenever a defined angular position must be checked or set in addition to horizontal and vertical alignment. The vial is connected to the circular scale; rotating the scale presets the desired inclination for inspection on the workpiece.
Design and technical features
The robust metal body has a long contact surface and an easy-to-read circular scale. The maximum permissible error is 1°. The scale covers four quadrants of 90° each.
Selecting the suitable version
Version 6064001 has a 70 mm scale diameter and an overall length of 150 mm. Wooden case 6064100 is available as protective accessory.
Practical use, handling and calibration
Contact surfaces and workpiece must be clean. For repeatable results the instrument should always be placed in the same direction and protected from unnecessary hand heat. Ballbach provides suitable calibration and selection advice.
